You get a Fast pass for 9 of the coasters but each coaster has a designated time you are allowed to go on. You go up the “Exit” ramps similar to the Handicapped. Buy the Fast Track at Hospitality Services when you first get in the park. You need to get you pass early, they do sell out quickly. I’ll explain a little how it works because the web site leaves out some important info. I bought two and shared them between me and my boys. I did get the Fast Track at $50 a pop! Yes, pricey but IMO, worth every penny, especially if you are into coasters. The entire park was jammed packed and most rides had a 30-90 min wait. Anyway, we only did rides and no water park. Are you crazy? I felt like I was going to slip out on SkyRush. I witnessed some parents trying to get their kids on these coasters that they were obviously too small to ride. They are designed for adults why take the chance. Please don’t cheat and try to get your small children on these coasters. The bigger more thrilling coasters are obviously more for adults. Obviously this is more helpful when you have kids. You find out what “candy bar” you are such as the Twizzler and then look at the display at each ride and see if your bar is there. I like how Hershey uses the candy bar system to show what you can ride. Look at the size charts and make sure you and/or your kids will be able to ride what you want to. Some say the Hershey’s rides are lame but that’s a matter of opinion. I did most of the big coasters like Great Bear, SkyRush and Fahrenheit along with Comet and Super Duper Looper. I love coasters and the ones I did I really enjoyed. Although my wife was able to sneak in a large water bottle. No outside food or drink and they do check bags. Buy your tickets online to save another line. We got a close spot and were in the park in like 10 min. For $12 you can park in the “park” lot but may be so far away you need a tram to get to the gate. It’s more expensive ($25) but if you arrive 30-60 min after the park opens YOU WILL WAIT a long time to get a parking spot. We arrived early, right at 10 (opening) and parked in Chocolate World near the factory. We had to wait in 10-15 min lines just to use the bathroom! But like I said, overall our experience was a good one. We went on a Saturday, the park was packed! Now, one could argue that we should expect this but at what point should Hershey Park stop allowing people into the park? Does the park have a maximum capacity? There is no way the facilities can accommodate all those people. For the rides we rode I may have had a different attitude had I paid for everything. I did pay for parking $25 near the Chocolate Factory (all day) and for two Fast Track tickets at $50/each. However, my company paid for the tickets and supplied us with food vouchers for 1 meal per person and a souvenir cup each. First thing I will say is that my family (two boys, 8, 14 and wife) had a good time and nice experience. Hershey Park is a difficult place to review objectively because it’s all about what you experienced, when you arrived, the weather, the rides you like etc. To be fair, the roller coasters the kids were actually able to go on got rave reviews from the three teenagers in our party, but overall the experience was simply miserable. Throughout the park we encountered nothing but rude, incompetent, or overwhelmed/undertrained employees. The same experience was repeated over and over again. The young man working the only cash register had to leave the register to go make a milkshake while everyone else waited in line.

For lunch, we waited in line 45 minutes for a cold hot dog! For an afternoon snack, we waited in line 20 minute for a milkshake only to be told by the employee that she didn't know how to make a vanilla milkshake. Some waiting is to be expected, but an 1 1/2 to 2 hours for every ride! Ridiculous! But the waiting didn't end there. The park was very crowded, and the lines for rides were outrageous. After finally finding a parking spot, we waited another 15 minutes in line to buy tickets.

We asked her where we could find parking, and she rudely told us to park wherever we could find an empty space before speeding off. We drove around another 15 minutes looking for a space before finally spotting an employee in a golf cart.

It began with a nearly 30 minute wait in traffic to pay $12 for parking only to get into the lot and find not one employee who could direct us to available parking. Our visit to Hersheypark was without a doubt the worst theme park experience we've ever had.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do not like amusement parks in general, but my teens do, so I've been to my share.
